Según las primeras informaciones conocidas del caso, al menos 40 personas que se encontraban reunidas en una finca de la vereda La Bendecida, en zona rural de Guática, Risaralda, fueron asaltadas por un grupo de entre siete y diez delincuentes que fuertemente armados llegaron hasta el lugar y mediante amenazas asaltaron a los asistentes al evento político.
Según testigos y víctimas del hurto, los asaltantes portaban armas de fuego y uno a uno los obligaron a tirarse al piso y a entregar sus elementos de valor.
El candidato a la Alcaldía de Guática, Ferney Castro Colorado, quien se dirigía al sitio para participar del evento, denunció el caso en sus redes sociales.
Los asaltantes, al parecer, quienes se movilizaban en motocicletas, portaban armas de fuego tipo pistolas y fusiles y al momento del atraco estaban encapuchados.
Las autoridades ya hacen presencia en el lugar.
